The Second Patriarch, Chan Koon Pak (courtesy name Sun Geng), was the second son of Chan Heung, the founder of Choy Lee Fut. Gifted with intelligence and a strong character, he mastered the family art before reaching adulthood. He initially ran a business in Jiangmen City, Xinhui County, but could not refuse requests to teach and thus selected students to pass on the art. Among his disciples, Chan Cheung Mo, Chan Sheung Kam, and Chan Siu Hung were especially notable.

Later, after moving to Guangzhou, he established a school at the request of his disciple Lee Yan. Many came to learn from him, and those who received the true transmission included Yan Yiu Ting, Wong Fook Wing, Tam Sam, Wu Kei Biu, Lee Hin Cheung, Choy Kwai Yuen, Choy Bak Dat, Choy Bak Hung, Choy Bak Shing, Choy Bak Diu, Lee Sau Ngam, Chan Chi Sam, Leung Gwai, Fong Yuk Shu, Chan Yu Hing, Chan Yiu, Chan Cheung Sau Ga, and Chan Sun Da Shun, among others.
